As technology continues to advance, organizations are using social media and online platforms to attract and acquire eligible employees. What methods and specific websites are currently being used in your organization to attract and acquire potential employees online? As a job seeker, reflect on the benefits and challenges of using social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, for finding employment. What are the drawbacks that an employer faces when using websites to attract future employees for positions and how can these drawbacks be reduced?

Solution

In this day and age we depend on online platforms and social media to attract people to look for jobs and find jobs,  and this is how we acquire positions for employees. There are specific ways to process,  procedures and there are websites from other organization to work. With the online websites we can post job vacancies, and we can also use the online job boards like Indeed, and Monster websites. There are numerous ways to leveraging professionals network such as Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram and Social Media. We can also face some challenges we might face like getting involve with fraud when a company involves you in fraud or false advertisement, which might end up with the company escaping from scams. Which is when some of these sites can create drawbacks like online platforms can sometimes unwilling to extend biases in the firing process, also employees need to be aware of the employees privacy and social media might not always be accurate or be reliable when they ask for employees to verify their claims for validity of their information.
