Qin et al, explains that human resources are an important component in relation to the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery. It is responsible for hiring and onboarding, helping employees advance their careers, and ensuring policy training. Currently, our human resources team is offsite and over sees a region of employees. There is an employee portal we have access to while we are at work and at home. This portal allow access to our personal timecards, pay stubs, 401k, insurance benefits, etc. In addition to this is job postings for the entire organization, work emails, medical and family leave of absence requests, etc. There is a wellness incentive to track steps and get yearly medical exams to receive discounts on health insurance rates. Our human resources has a virtual feel to it from a business perspective, but is lacking in personal and advocate feeling.
